STEAM projects

This project is designed to demonstrate the scientific concept of Earth’s rotation on its axis through a simple experiment. Using the model, students will observe how the planet rotates and understand the consequences of this phenomenon (the alternation of day and night).

The goal of this project is to demonstrate to students how an ecosystem works in practice. Using natural materials (sand, stones, plants, moss, water), students create a model of an ecosystem. Through this activity, they learn about the interconnection of natural resources.

Through this project, students will experimentally explore the length of a circle. By cutting the circle into parts and rearranging it into a rectangle, they will observe the relationship between the circle’s length and its radius. Measurement is carried out using a string.

In this project, students will create a small model of a rain garden. They will observe its function as a natural filter and, through an experiment, explore how it can absorb excess rainwater and reduce pollution.

This project is aimed at developing students’ creativity while exploring the lifestyle and material culture of Turkic peoples. Students will create a dish from paper pulp (recycled paper), using materials that resemble natural ones used in daily life by ancient Turkic communities.

This project allows students to observe how plants regenerate as living organisms. By cutting different parts of the plant and placing them in water, students observe the regrowth process and learn about the plant’s life cycle, survival, and regenerative abilities. The project helps students develop skills in scientific observation, measurement, comparison, and drawing conclusions.

Through this project, students will explore electric circuits and investigate whether different materials conduct electricity. Using simple tools, they will build a small tester device. The project develops students’ observation, comparison, and reasoning skills.

This project is conducted as a demonstration experiment under teacher supervision. The aim of the project is to investigate the magnetic properties of different objects using a magnet and to discover that only certain metals are attracted to magnets.

This project aims to develop students’ skills in measuring and comparing quantities (length, mass, volume, and time) that they encounter in daily life. During the project, children will learn to accurately measure liquids and powders, perform addition, subtraction, and comparison while making jelly soap for the shower.

This project aims to develop students’ skills in reading, writing, and comparing numbers. Through hands-on activities, students understand the concept of balance and perform comparison and addition operations creatively. Children build a balance tool using a ruler and wooden sticks and solve number problems visually using clothespins.
