The mathematics of saving water
Project Information This project covers the basic principles that are necessary to save water. In the first part of the project, students make calculations on the amount of water used daily and ways to save water. Students are also introduced to the concept of rainwater harvesting, the purpose of which is to store stormwater for agricultural or domestic use. In the second part of the project, students build a system for collecting and using rainwater for watering plants.
