In this project, students will learn how wastewater treatment plants work. Students will also perform laboratory work to determine indicators of water quality. Thus, having studied all the materials, they will build a working model of the wastewater treatment plant.

For a water treatment plant:
cardboard
- scissors
- pump - 2 pcs
- battery compartment - 4 pcs
- AA batteries - 12 pcs
- a motor with a gearbox (with rotating shafts) - 2 pcs
- wheels to engines (covers can also be used)
- LEDs and resistors - 6 pcs each
- copper wire - 1m
- hot glue stick
- plastic bottle - 3 pcs
- electrical tape
- silicone hose - 2 m
- Activated carbon - 100 gr
- gravel - 100 gr
- filter paper - 4 pcs
- cotton wool
- disposable plastic containers (rectangular) with a volume of:
- 500ml -1pc
- 200ml - 4pcs
- disposable plastic containers (round) with a volume of 500 ml - 2 pcs
- tube for juice - 1 pc
- covers - 10 pieces
- system for infusions - 2 pieces
- syringe 10ml - 1pc
- rubber (width 4-5cm) - 50cm
- skewer - 1 pc
- plates - 4 pieces
- soil - 50gr
- water

For laboratory research:
- test tubes
- indicator paper for determining acidity
- indicator paper for the determination of chloride, sulfate, phosphate, nitrate ions
- indicator paper for determination of calcium and sodium ions
- indicator paper to determine the total hardness and alkalinity of water
