Age categories
Junior group (year 11-15)
Senior group (16-23 years old)
Rules of participation
Junior category (11-15 years old)
Team Requirements
1. Age of participants: from 11 to 15 years old (inclusive)
2. Team size: 2-3 people
3. Team mentor: over 18 years of age
ROV requirements
1. The vehicle must be remote-controlled.
2. The dimensions of the robot must allow it to fit into a 50x50x50 cm cube.
3. There are no requirements for the weight of the robot.
4. There must be no batteries or accumulators on the robot. The power supply voltage of the robot must not exceed 15V. The maximum current should not exceed 15A.
5. The robot must not be equipped with parts (sharp objects, bare wires, etc.) that can harm the pool or team members.
Runs
Each team will be given 2 attempts of 15 minutes to complete the swim. Each attempt has three parts:
deployment of equipment at the station, preparation for the mission – 3 minutes;
mission completion – 10 minutes;
Remove of the equipment, release of the station – 2 minutes.
During the mission, the pilot is not allowed to look into the pool, but team members can communicate with each other.
Mission
The competition area consists of two parts: an underwater track and a target.
The task of the robot: in a short period of time, go through 3 circles of the underwater track and hit the target with three shells.
The order of the task:
1 circle
1) Lay the track.
The connector with the rope must be taken from the start area and installed in the port at the end of the track, laying the rope in a certain way between the gates.
2) Hitting the target.
It is necessary to take one projectile (located near the port) and hit the target with it. Hitting the target means that the robot has placed a projectile with Velcro on the target.
3) Return along the paved track.
2-3 circle
1) Walk along the track.
The task is considered successfully completed if the robot moves over the rope, which is visible on the pilot’s screen.
2) Hitting the target
3) Return
Completion of the run
After completing three laps, the robot should emerge.
The referee stops time only when any part of the robot has crossed the surface of the water.
Features of target shooting
The target is a stand with Velcro attached. The target has three zones: red, yellow and black.
Depending on the hit in any of the zones, the team is awarded or not awarded penalty seconds.
Red zone: +0 seconds
Yellow zone: +10 seconds
Black zone: +15 seconds
Penalty seconds are added to the final result of the run after it is completed.

Definition of winners
The winner is the team whose ROV has completed three laps in the least amount of time, including penalty seconds. The best of two runs counts.
